Anti-Scam Policy
Effective date: 23/12/2025
1. Our Commitment to Safety
PolJob is committed to providing a safe and transparent job platform for the Polish community in the United Kingdom.
We actively work to prevent fraudulent job offers, fake recruiters, and any form of exploitation of candidates or employers.
PolJob is not a recruitment agency and never charges candidates for accessing job listings or applying for jobs.
2. No Fees for Candidates — Ever
Candidates using PolJob must never be asked to pay for:
- Job applications
- Recruitment or placement fees
- Training required before employment
- Accommodation arrangements as a condition of getting a job
- Document processing or “fast-track” hiring
- Equipment deposits or uniforms paid upfront
👉 If anyone asks you for money in relation to a job posted on PolJob, it is a scam.
3. Employer Responsibilities
All employers posting jobs on PolJob must:
- Provide truthful and accurate job information
- Clearly state pay, location, and basic employment terms
- Comply with UK employment and right-to-work laws
- Not charge candidates any fees at any stage of the hiring process
- Communicate professionally and transparently
PolJob reserves the right to:
- Review, edit, or reject job postings
- Remove listings that appear misleading, incomplete, or suspicious
- Suspend or permanently ban employers who violate this policy
4. How We Reduce Scam Risk
To protect our users, PolJob:
- Reviews job postings before publication
- Does not allow anonymous or vague job advertisements
- Promotes a Verified Employer option for additional trust
- Publishes clear guidance warning candidates about common scams
- Encourages direct communication between candidates and employers
However, PolJob cannot guarantee that all interactions will be scam-free. Users should always remain cautious.
5. Warning Signs of Job Scams
Be alert if an employer or “agent”:
- Asks for money or gift cards
- Communicates only via WhatsApp/Telegram and refuses calls
- Promises unrealistically high pay for minimal work
- Pressures you to act urgently
- Refuses to provide a company name, address, or contract
- Requests personal documents before a formal job offer
If something feels wrong — trust your instincts.
6. Reporting a Suspected Scam
If you suspect a scam related to PolJob:
- Do not send money or documents
- Stop communication immediately
- Report the issue to us at:
📧 info@poljob.co.uk
Please include:
- Job title
- Employer name (if known)
- Screenshots or messages (if available)
We investigate all reports seriously and act quickly to protect other users.
7. Limitation of Responsibility
PolJob provides a platform to connect employers and candidates but is not a party to any employment agreement.
We are not responsible for:
- Employment decisions made by employers
- Contracts signed outside the platform
- Losses caused by interactions conducted off PolJob
That said, we will fully cooperate with users and authorities in cases of confirmed fraud.
8. Our Promise
Transparency, fairness, and safety are core values of PolJob.
If we become aware of scam activity, we act decisively.
No fees. No hidden agents. No exploitation.
